As MYOB are updating their Essentials platform to allow for improved workflows, additional features and a mobile-responsive experience, it is advised that clients should update their files in preparation.
You may notice a warning message or notice indicating your incoming upgrade.
The file updates themselves are an automated process for the end user. In the case of a file update failure, the file will be rolled back and MYOB will reschedule and attempt the update again at a later date.
While the file update process is automated, to ensure a smooth transition it’s recommended that you do the following:
For Super Portal users, it’s recommended to download your payment receipts and contribution statements.
For those using YourPay to track timesheets, this function will be replaced with MYOB team.
Any entries entered after the last recorded pay period will automatically come across to MYOB Essentials team. Before you do your first pay, you’ll need to allocate them to the correct pay item from the default temporary item.
For those submitting their timesheets on a mobile device, advise them to download the MYOB Team app.
