Kate Mannix CEO
Since her appointment as CEO in 2017, Kate has led the firm through significant growth and transformation, with a focus on people, innovation, client experience and long-term sustainability.
Her broad experience across professional services, operations and governance provides a strong foundation for her leadership of the firm today.
Prior to joining AFS, Kate gained valuable commercial and professional services experience with PwC and Blockbuster Australia.
A passionate advocate for regional Victoria, Kate is committed to helping businesses, communities and local economies thrive.
She is focused on ensuring AFS remains the advisory firm clients choose to partner with and a workplace where talented people can build meaningful and rewarding careers.
In addition to her role as CEO, Kate contributes to several governance and leadership organisations, including:
- Regional Chair, Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
- Director and Finance and Investment Chair, Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
- Regional Advisory Committee Member, Australian Institute of Company Directors
Kate is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (FCA) and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
Outside of work, Kate is actively involved in her local community and enjoys supporting her three children through their sporting and community pursuits.
